Matthew Steven is a versatile singer-guitarist with an extensive repertoire covering a range of styles. 

His Fringe Set features alternative hits from the likes of Powderfinger, Foo Fighters and The Verve – let there be no doubt, Matty can rock. 

At the other end of the spectrum, Matthew’s Adult Contemporary Set is full of classic love songs, and smooth pop from artists such as Elton John, Ronan Keating, and Savage Garden. 

Matthew is equally at home with just a guitar, with his Acoustic Set featuring the best of acts like U2, REM, and Alex Lloyd. 

Then there’s always the party favourites like ‘My Sharona’ and ‘Red Red Wine’ in case of a dance-floor emergency!

Audience interaction is made easy – Matthew provides lists of his songs at all shows encouraging the crowd to program the set!

Matthew began performing at 18 in the bands dB gun, INXSIV, and Napoleon Undercover, before going solo in 1995. 

He has penned award-winning songs (e.g, “Do you really mean it?”) and was a finalist in the Nescafe Big-Break competition. 

Matthew released his debut original album Overtime under the name of Jigsaw in 1999.
