This high energy act has become Adelaide's best and most versatile cover band. triplescore is able to play as a four piece rock band or as a 7 piece house band.
triplescore was formed in May 2002. The band’s line up comprises of seven talented individuals, who were formerly leading members of Adelaide’s best-known cover and original bands.
triplescore’s front man Shane Wolf has been apart of Adelaide’s live music seen for many years performing in cover bands such as Reggae On, Men in Black, Blinder, Cleanskin, Wasabi and Unknown to Man.
All other members of ‘Triplescore’ are experienced musicians, and have been playing the Adelaide pub circuit for many years. Lesley Gorgula (Voice) who sings with ‘New White Sneakers’ and made the Australian Idols Top 55 in it inaugural year, 2003. Chris Keipert (Drums) Playroom and Jono Ruse (Keyboard) from jazz outfit ‘Pockitt’. Matt Baluyot (Guitar) was with ‘Pornland’ for a while before the band moved to Melbourne. John Wilson is currently playing bass with original band ‘The Matt Winter Band’, and Paul Buttler who is currently playing for cover band ‘Low Brow’.
The real attraction that has brought these talented musicians together is their shared ambition to produce a truly credible blend of House and R’n’B. A feat that they have achieved, and is making them the most sought after band in Adelaide. The band’s reputation as being one of Adelaide’s most popular band’s is continuing to grow from strength to strength as they have successfully performed at many venues around Adelaide since the band conception.
triplescore formally held residency at the Heaven complex (Adelaides's biggest superclub) and is now playing around Adelaide's local pubs and clubs as well as touring nationally.
