Take the A Train to your next wedding, party or corporate function and enjoy
a superb evening of jazz and latin classics performed by three of Adelaide’s
finest musicians.
Lead singer and pianist for the trio is the very talented Melanie Jamieson, who has
performed extensively in Melbourne, and Sydney.
On the local front, she has performed at many important functions, including The Elder
Park Christmas Carols and The Australia Day celebrations as part of the R.A.N. jazz
quartet.
Bass guitarist for the group is Shereen Khemlani, who has performed extensively throughout
the country and also in Singapore, New Zealand,
and the USA.
In 2008 she performed in The Gospel Messiah, held at the Festival Centre, which featured
some of Australia’s most talented singers and musicians.
Drummer Tim Jones, completes the trio and he also has a wealth of performance experience
and has worked in Perth, Sydney, Canberra, London and an International Music Festival in
Aberdeen.
Although the group normally performs as a trio, a saxophone player is often added to form
a quartet.
